All lanes open for JB-S'pore traffic during Raya

JOHOR BARU, MALAYSIA: All the lanes at the Causeway and Secondlink will be opened for operations during the festive season to facilitate smoother traffic flow.

Johor Customs director Mohd Subre Ishak said the lanes would be in operation for 24 hours from Sept 29 to Oct 4 at the Causeway and Sept 29 to Oct 5 at the Secondlink.

"We expect heavy traffic at the entry points three days before and three days after the festival," he said.

He also said that a lane at the Tanjong Puteri Customs Complex here will be opened from Sept 27 - Oct 5 to light vehicles.

"The outbound lane will be opened from noon to midnight," he said.

For enquiries, travellers using the Causeway can call the operations room at 607) 223-0552; those travelling via the Secondlink can call the operations room at 607) 513-3001/02/ 03.
