Road closure for Parliament

ROADS will be closed for the opening of the second session of the 11th Parliament sitting on Monday from 8.30 pm to 10.30 pm at the Parliament House.

As part of the security requirements, the following closures will come into effect from 3 pm to midnight:

- The extreme right lane of Parliament Place, between North Bridge Road and Supreme Court Lane).

- Parliament Place, between Supreme Court Lane and Saint Andrews Road.

Traffic flow along North Bridge Road, Hill Street and High Street is expected to be slow moving during this period.

Motorists are advised to avoid this stretch of road and plan their journey early.

Police officers will be stationed at affected road junctions to assist and direct motorists.
