New tyres appear deflated, even at recommended pressure

My new set of tyres appears very soft, and even look a little deflated, even after inflating them to the right pressure. Is this normal? Should I inflate them a little more than required instead?

As long as your tyres size and pressure levels are within your car manufacturer's recommended specifications, there is no need to increase the amount of air in your tyres.
