How to reduce mist buildup of the exterior windscreen and side windows when the air-con is turned on.

How and what is the fastest way to reduce the mist buildup (on the exterior) of the windscreen and side windows especially on a rainy day with the air-con turned on?

Mist build-up often happens when the air conditioning in the car cools the windows, allowing air outside to condense on your windows. If this only happens near the air vents, you may wish to change the air-conditioning vent direction. To de-mist the front and rear windscreens, there are always the wipers and defogger. In serious cases, you may need to increase the air-conditioning temperature or leave a small outlet for outside air to regulate the temperature inside your car.
