AFTER 30 minutes of driving, my car's undercarriage emits a burning smell. What could be wrong?

THE smell could be caused by a foreign object that got stuck to the exhaust (for instance, a plastic bag).

When your car's exhaust system heats up, the object melts and causes the burning smell. Take your car to a workshop to identify the source of the smell.
