I am driving a 2006 car. Whenever it rains and I turn on the wipers, they leave streaks across the windshield. They also make squealing noises. Why is it so?
The car's wiper blades (the rubbery part) may have hardened or they are worn-out.
Another reason could be the wiper blade arms need to be adjusted to reduce tension.
You might want to have them checked at a workshop.
