The belting condition will be inspected during the routine servicing, and you are required to replace it if its condition has deteriorated. However, if your car is installed with timing belt, you are usually required to replace the timing belt in accordance with the manufacture/local distributor's recommended mileage or duration (months), whichever comes first.
