I just changed my car's tyres and was told that I need to change its steering tie rods and ball joints as well. Should I change them before or after getting the wheels aligned?
It is not common, but replacement of car parts can sometimes alter the wheel alignment slightly. Where possible, all front-end components should be replaced before doing the wheel alignment.
There is a thin film of oil covering my car's shock absorbers. What should I do?
As long?as your shock absorbers are functioning properly, a thin layer of oil covering the top half of the working chamber is normal.
My car's steering wheel wobbles when I drive. What is wrong?
Steering parts could be worn or damaged. Inspect your car's front end for worn parts and replace them accordingly.
My car's brake pedal has suddenly become very stiff when I step on it. Is the brake booster faulty?
The problem could be due to one or more of the following: a faulty power brake booster, a faulty vacuum line or the brake line is pinched.
