Last burst of fire

It's been a busy year for motorsports fans, with Formula One getting everyone who's even remotely interested in fast things with four wheels all excited.

But while Kimi Raikkonen's still celebrating, and Lewis Hamilton is settling in Switzerland, the final score in Singapore hasn't quite been settled yet.

This Sunday marks the last instalment of MPT's Sprint/Supersprint four-part series.

The quickest man over 201m remains Lester Wong, who has just gotten faster and faster in his Mitsubishi EVO with each leg. His current record: 6.78 seconds

His closest rival is Subaru WRX driver Lim Lean Tek, whose personal best stands at 7.13 seconds. Lim was last year's winner with a time of 7.30 seconds.

While the guys with the big turbos fight it out, there's also keen competition in another 24 categories, including 13 in the Supersprint challenge that throws in a tricky figure-of-8 midway through the course.

SHOWS ON THE SIDE

If the sound of engines backfiring isn't your cup of tea, head over to the ultimate sound challenge where you risk losing your hearing altogether.

Also on the cards are the finals of the Race Queen search, and the Autostyling challenge - may the most beautiful triumph!

The organisers have also mentioned that the much-anticipated EVO 10 may also be making a guest appearance, courtesy of Garage R.

Tip if you're heading down to Kallang: Don't forget the sunblock!
