>I AM appalled to read that SMRT will be removing a third of the seats on some of its trains.

This idea does not go down well, especially with an aging population.

And if you are travelling far, every one - old or young - would like to get a seat.

The Government is encouraging people to use public transport, but SMRT seems to be making it less attractive.
