Why no decrease in pump prices?
Mon, Sep 15, 2008
my paper

CRUDE-OIL prices have traded below the US$100 (S$143)-per-barrel mark last week.

However, I have not seen any decrease in pump prices lately after the last few rounds of price adjustments.

There seems to be no competition when it comes to petrol in Singapore.

When Company A increases its price, Companies B, C and D follow suit.

Can the authorities governing fair competition and trading practices comment on this?
