Fast Lane: C this Jag

Here's a big hint of what Jaguar's new XF sedan will look like when it is launched early next year. The C-XF concept is a modern and athletic shape that is completely different from the S-Type - the 'retro' car the XF replaces.

The coupe-like four-seater boasts new materials and technologies, like an improved six-speed sequential transmission and a revolutionary wiring system that is more robust and versatile.

The car is powered by a 4.2-litre supercharged V8 that produces 420 horses and 500Nm of torque, allowing it to reach close to 290kmh. Those who think this is not enough will have the option of a 5.5-litre 500bhp V8.
