Fast lane: Next XC is sexy

Volvo's XC60 concept might as well be a flashing neon sign that says: 'Don't buy anything else. We're making this car.' And you'd have to admit, even without neon, the XC60 looks rather attractive.

It is expected to share some components with the Land Rover Freelander II (Ford's other brand), including its 3.2-litre inline-6 engine which we saw most recently in the Volvo S80.

Volvo says the XC60 is a few years down the road, but we reckon it will arrive sooner. From the looks of it, it will be as successful as the XC90.
