Fast Lane: Mazda's sporty 2

You're not seeing double. The new Mazda2, due here at the end of the year, looks a bit like the Peugeot 207. Well, more than a bit. The car is a quick departure from the current functional boxy shape.

It is not the only one in the genre to go 'sporty'. Honda's new Jazz, due around the same time or a couple of months later, is also expected to be a little more wedge-shaped.
