Mercedes-Benz has launched its massive GL-class here. A cross between its paramilitary G-class and its M-class SUV, the GL version here is powered by a 4.7-litre V8 which is regulated by a seven-speed autobox.
It has all-wheel-drive for go-anywhere capability and Airmatic suspension for comfort. But more relevant, it offers luxury space for seven onboard, with the third row of seats able to fold flat into the floor at the touch of a button (like in the Honda Odyssey).
