Fastlane: First China Chrysler?

This is the A1, a spunky European-styled model from Chinese carmaker Chery. Shown at the Beijing and Shanghai auto shows, the car is said to be the base for the first joint venture product with DaimlerChrysler.

The German group has entered into an agreement with Chery to make small cars in China, some to be exported as Chryslers.
