FUJI SPEEDWAY, Japan, Sept 27, 2007 (AFP) - Lewis Hamilton plans on holding clear the air talks with team-mate Fernando Alonso in Fuji this weekend to sort out a code of conduct for their championship fight.

The British rookie is still annoyed at Alonso's first corner move at the last race in Belgium when Hamilton was forced off the circuit.

But Hamilton has also warned his Spanish rival that he is prepared to be just as aggressive in the remaining three races.

"I probably will speak to him later in the weekend about this because I haven't spoken to him since the last race and I have my feelings on what happened at the last race," said Hamilton, 22.

"Here is another race, another day, but when we are out there we won't be giving any handouts, that is for sure.

"I will be a lot more aware of him around me now. I am driving to keep the car on the track and be fair to everyone, but if that is how aggressive he wants to be then I can be just as aggressive as anyone else.

"But I am not going to take any silly risks and take myself or anyone else off. I'll just make sure I am ahead of him so it won't be an issue."

Hamilton has seen his lead over Alonso cut to just two points but insists the reigning double world champion is under greater pressure.

"I feel I have nothing to lose. He is the one defending the world championship, so really he should have more pressure on him. But in the last two races he has done really well," he said.

"I don't know if he has unloaded a load of baggage and is not feeling any weight from the team, or anything. He seems to be quite happy in the team all of a sudden, or with himself at least."

For his part, Alonso insists that he is only focusing on the title fight despite speculation he will quit McLaren at the end of the season after falling out with the team over the Ferrari gate spying scandal.

The Swiss-based double world champion, 26, has been linked with a return to former team Renault or a switch to Ferrari.

But he refused to elaborate on Thursday. "I cannot spend every week, every day answering rumours and giving my point of view," he said.

"At the moment nothing is true and I'm completely focusing on the last three races. I am fighting for the world championship, so everything is going quite well for me. I'm happy.

"All the previous championship fights were similar in a way. Everything is difficult. There is no moment to relax."
