Fastlane: 313kmh on the road

YOU are looking at the world's most expensive street-legal motorcycle: the MV Agusta F4 CC, a 313kmh racer that retails for 100,000 euros (S$209,215). The CC stands for Claudio Castiglioni, the boss of MV Agusta, who says the F4CC was a bike he dreamt up for himself.

The superbike is powered by a 1,078cc four-cylinder engine that puts out 198hp at 12,200rpm. It is not available in Singapore yet, but new MV Agusta agent Hong Seh Motors (the Ferrari agent) is expected to import it when it starts business next year.

The F4CC goes head on with Ducati's 989cc Desmosedici RR, a 200-plus horsepower bike expected to arrive in the middle of next year.
