>SUPER premium fuels are not worth the extra cost. According to real-world tests conducted by British car magazine What Car?, high-octane premium fuels including BP Ultimate, Shell V-Power, Esso Supreme and Total Excellium performed little or no better than their cheaper equivalents, despite costing around 7 per cent more. Neither did they offer better mileage.
