LTA nabs 41 cabbies for touting, overcharging

>Over a four day period from the 24 - 27 October 2007, LTA officers conducted special operations at Clarke Quay, Orchard Towers and Boat Quay.

During the operations, 41 taxi drivers were caught committing offences. Among them, 22 taxi drivers were found touting, 8 were found overcharging while the rest were caught for refusing to convey passengers.

Members of the public are encouraged to call LTA's hotline at 1800-CALL LTA (1800-225 5582) should they wish to give feedback or report errant taxi drivers.
