Fast lane: Saab's X factor
>SAAB'S new all-wheel drive Turbo X will arrive early next year. With 400Nm of torque from its 280hp 2.8-litre V6 turbo engine, the Turbo X is like nothing in the 9-3 range today. The car marks the debut of XWD, an active all-wheel drive system that not only splits torque delivery between both axles, but also between the rear wheels.

Available in sedan and wagon form, the Turbo X is the first all-new Saab in a long while. It will be followed by a large sports-utility vehicle and an all-new 9-5 in 2009.
