>KUALA LUMPUR: Police believe they have busted a car crash-and-rob gang with the arrests of five of its members on Thursday. The five, including the mastermind, were nabbed just after the Sungai Besi toll plaza about 8am. The men, aged between 20 and 30, were in two cars parked by the roadside heading towards the city.

A quick check showed that the cars, a Honda Accord and a Proton Wira, had been reported stolen earlier that day in Rahang, Negri Sembilan, and Puchong, Selangor.

Police have obtained a remand order to hold the suspects for a week.
