>CHINESE carmaker Chery has just introduced Singapore's cheapest sport-utility vehicle. The 1.6 litre T11 is a mid-size model priced at $47,000 with COE. It is substantially cheaper than smaller Japanese SUVs like the Toyota Rush, which costs at least $10,000 more. The Nanjing-based manufacturer was the first China brand to enter the Singapore market. The 1.6-litre T11 follows a two-litre variant launched by distributor Vertex Automobile in August last year. The latter currently costs $50,999. Both the 2.0 and 1.6 versions of the T11 have front-wheel-drive and standard equipment such as two front airbags, an in-dash CD changer, a 12-volt power socket, an electric sunroof and 16-inch alloy wheels.
