Two injured in lorry-motorcycle accident

TWO Indian women - a motorcyclist and her pillion rider - were injured after their motorbike collided with a lorry along Changi South Street at about 7.30am on Monday.

Both women, in their 30s, were rushed to Changi General Hospital.

The motorcyclist sustained severe head injuries and fell unconscious. The pillion rider also sustained but her condition was stable.

The lorry driver, a Malay man, was unhurt.

Police are still investigating the accident and are appealing for witnesses to call their hotline at 1800-5471818.
