Driving notes: First GT-R in S'pore
>GODZILLA has landed. The first unit of the long-awaited Nissan R35 GT-R arrived at a parallel importer here late last week. Other importers are expected to follow with more units of this latest generation of Nissan's halo model. BHP Auto, for example, is expected to deliver a few of this roughly $280,000 coupe to customers next month. The GT-R is a cult car and is dubbed Godzilla for its stonking power. It has a 480PS, 3.8-litre, twin-turbo V6 engine driving all four wheels. Maximum torque is an eye-popping 588 Nm available from just 3,200 rpm. The transmission is a dual-clutch six-speed auto and the car rides on massive 20-inch alloy wheels.

Only one word can describe it: breathtaking.
