>TOYOTA distributor Borneo Motors has opened bookings for the new Corolla Altis. The 1.6-litre automatic (there is no manual) is priced at $65,988 with COE, but early birds get a $1,000 discount and existing Toyota owners get another $500 off.

The 10th-generation Corolla Altis is longer, wider, taller and better equipped than its predecessor, and will be manufactured in Thailand. The old Corolla has been sold out since December.
