Trailer hits bus full of school girls at Sixth Avenue

A long trailer collided with a school van carrying primary school pupils at Sixth Avenue on Friday morning.

The accident was seen by STOMPer Jonathan Wong, who sent in this photo.

Said Mr Wong: 'A long tractor trailer turning out of a Sixth Avenue construction site collided with a school van carrying primary school students from a girl's school.

'The accident blocked the whole road from about 7am onwards, and as of 7.25am, was still not cleared. The ambulances for the primary school students have just arrived.'

Eleven students with minor injuries were sent to the National University Hospital, together with the driver's woman assistant.
