Pedestrian killed in Siglap horror crash

A WOMAN pedestrian died in an accident involving a taxi and van along East Coast Road at about 12.15 pm on Tuesday.

She and another man in his mid-40s were crossing the road towards Upper East Coast Road when the collision took place.

The woman was pronounced dead on the scene while the man, who complained of pains in his left leg, was sent to Changi General Hospital.

The drivers of both vehicles are uninjured and were not carrying any passengers at the time.

Police are still investigating.
