>THE BMW 118d has been voted World Green Car of the Year. A jury made up of 47 motor journalists from 24 countries awarded BMW the title for the 118d's low consumption despite its performance. Its 2-litre four-cylinder 143hp diesel engine is capable of a nine-second 0-100kmh sprint, while consuming 4.5 litres of fuel per 100km and producing only 119g of carbon dioxide per km.
