Man charged with cheating bid

>A 33-YEAR-OLD man was charged on Thursday with trying to deceive two motorists into believing that they had accidentally knocked into him.

Lee Boon Teck is accused of trying to cheat Mr Neo Say Yong into paying him $80 to $100 by claiming that his car had knocked him down while Mr Neo was driving into a carpark at Lorong 19 Geylang on April 1.

About 1 1/2 hours later he allegedly tried to dupe another motorist, Ms Low Eng Kiow, into giving him $200 by using the same ruse along Sims Avenue.
