Team by team analysis of Bahrain Grand Prix

MANAMA, April 6 (Reuters) - Team by team analysis of Sunday's Bahrain Grand Prix (teams listed in 2007 championship order): -

FERRARI (Felipe Massa 1, Kimi Raikkonen 2)
Massa scored his first points of the season with his sixth win, repeating last year's victory in Bahrain. Raikkonen's 50th Formula One podium lifted the champion into the overall lead. The win was also the 100th under Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo.

BMW SAUBER (Robert Kubica 3, Nick Heidfeld 4)
BMW took the lead in the constructors' championship for the first time after starting on pole for the first time with Kubica. They are the only team to have finished on the podium in all three of the season's races so far.

RENAULT (Fernando Alonso 10, Nelson Piquet retired)
Alonso secured his third successive top 10 position but Renault looked well off the pace. The Spaniard's car was damaged in a second lap collision with McLaren's Hamilton. Piquet had a gearbox problem and was retired to ensure he avoided a penalty in the next race.

WILLIAMS (Nico Rosberg 8, Kazuki Nakajima 14)
Rosberg finished where he started. Nakajima had a problem at the start and an early spin sent him to the back of the field.

RED BULL (Mark Webber 7, David Coulthard 18)
Webber scored points for the second race in a row. Coulthard had cars bouncing off him at the start and had to pit with a puncture. The Scot and Honda's Button then collided, taking the Englishman out and causing further damage to the Red Bull.

TOYOTA (Jarno Trulli 6, Timo Glock 9)
Trulli's second successive appearance in the points. Glock had a minor gearbox problem after his first stop, forcing a change in strategy.

TORO ROSSO (Sebastien Bourdais 15, Sebastian Vettel retired)
Vettel went out at the start after colliding with Force India's Sutil and then being hit from the rear by another car. Bourdais had a brake problem but was otherwise untroubled.

HONDA (Rubens Barrichello 11, Jenson Button retired)
Button picked up a puncture on the opening lap, rejoining in 20th place after pitting. He then clashed with Coulthard on lap 19, pitting for a new front wing and then retiring two laps later. Barrichello had an uneventful race.

SUPER AGURI (Anthony Davidson 16, Takuma Sato 17)
Another two car finish for the tail-enders, their second in two races, but never any chance of points.

FORCE INDIA (Giancarlo Fisichella 12, Adrian Sutil 19)
Sutil collided with Vettel at the first corner but continued to secure his first finish of the year and the team's first race with two finishers. Fisichella had a good start and ended the race six places up on his starting position.

MCLAREN (Heikki Kovalainen 5, Lewis Hamilton 13)
Hamilton's lowest-placed finish of his career, with a starting error costing him the championship lead. He also collided with Alonso on lap two. Kovalainen set the fastest lap of the race.
