Fastlane: Costly mobile phone calls

>DRIVERS in Britain convicted of using their mobile phone while on the move will see their insurance premiums increase by a third, reported the Daily Mail. Allianz Insurance has become the first company to treat hand-held mobile phone use while driving as seriously as careless driving offences. The average motor insurance policy is £629 (S$1,710), which means culprits face a hike in premiums of £208 a year.
