ISTANBUL, May 11 (Reuters) - Team by team analysis of Sunday's Turkish Formula One Grand Prix (teams listed in championship order):

FERRARI (Felipe Massa 1, Kimi Raikkonen 3)
Massa's third Turkish Grand Prix win in a row from pole position, second victory of the season and seventh of his career. It was also Ferrari's fourth win in a row. Raikkonen's overall lead was cut from nine points to seven over Massa and McLaren's Lewis Hamilton. -

BMW SAUBER (Robert Kubica 4, Nick Heidfeld 5)
Both drivers gained positions from the start, with Heidfeld qualifying ninth. The German passed Toyota's Trulli at the start and gained two more places in the pitstops. Kubica also made a good start and was third into the first corner from fifth on the grid. -

MCLAREN (Lewis Hamilton 2, Heikki Kovalainen 12)
Hamilton's race was compromised by concerns about his tyres, forcing him into a third pitstop where others did only two. Kovalainen started on the front row for the first time but punctured a tyre when he banged wheels with Raikkonen on the opening lap. The pitstop sent him to the back of the field. -

WILLIAMS (Nico Rosberg 8, Kazuki Nakajima retired)
Rosberg made a good start, gaining three places in three laps. Nakajima suffered his first retirement when he was taken out at the start by Giancarlo Fisichella's Force India. -

RED BULL (Mark Webber 7, David Coulthard 9)
Webber's fourth successive points finish. The Australian has scored all his team's points and has bagged as many after five races as he scored all last year. Coulthard at least finished a race without a collision. -

TOYOTA (Jarno Trulli 10, Timo Glock 13)
Trulli dropped three places into the first corner. Glock ran a one-stop strategy but was bogged down in traffic. -

RENAULT (Fernando Alonso 6, Nelson Piquet 15)
Alonso started seventh but made up two places at the start. Piquet lost out at the start and looked ragged at times before defending well against Kovalainen for a while. -

HONDA (Jenson Button 11, Rubens Barrichello 14)
Barrichello made his record 257th start but had little else to celebrate. Button passed the Brazilian at the start. Both drivers made just one pitstop, making it hard to fend off lighter rivals making two stops. -

TORO ROSSO (Sebastian Vettel 17, Sebastien Bourdais retired)
Vettel finished a race for the first time this season, although he had to overcome a puncture after being hit by another car on the first lap and then having problems with refuelling. Bourdais spun off into the gravel due to an unspecified technical failure. -

FORCE INDIA (Adrian Sutil 16, Giancarlo Fisichella retired)
Fisichella crashed out at the start when he ran into the back of Nakajima. Sutil damaged his front wing on lap one and had to pit for a new one. -
