STOMP
He says, she says...

According to STOMP reader "AA", the woman in the picture said, "Want to take picture, take lah. It's a $100K car, I can park it anyway I want. Don't be red eye just because you cannot afford one."

The incident occurred on May 25, two days before STOMP reported it.

But now, the woman in the picture has come forward with her version of the story.

Declining to be named, the woman claimed she had driven to the carpark to fetch her mother, sister-in-law and her children.

Her defense for the unorthodox parking style was that her passengers were due to arrive in a matter of minutes, and she wanted to leave adequate space to prevent the doors of her Honda Civic from hitting adjacent cars if they were opened too wide.

She said a bespectacled man then appeared in front of her car and took a photo with his camera-equipped mobile phone.

"Out of curiosity, I went up to him and asked him, 'Why are you taking a photo of my car?'" she said.

Apparently, he shouted back at her "Because you don't know how to park your car!"

The woman then recounted how she told the man how she was waiting for her passengers and would not be staying long.

"Waiting for people cannot park properly meh?" was the reply from the man.

"Why, you think 100k car can park 2 lots huh?"

"I did not challenge him to take the photo, and I did not say my car $100K, I can park anyway I like," said the woman.

"I did try to explain to him but he ignored (me)."

STOMP contacted "AA" who reconfirmed that the woman did actually say what he reported.

He added that it was her bad attitude that annoyed him the most, and not her parking.
