Road diversions this week

Several roads will be closed this week for major public events.

Stamford Road

Stamford Road will be closed to traffic for the Night Festival at the National Museum of Singapore.

On Thursday, the closure will be from 1am to 5am, on Friday from 1am to 5am and on Saturday, from 8.30pm to 2am.

Vehicles travelling towards Stamford Road will be diverted to Victoria Street, Middle Road and Bencoolen Street.

Twelve SBS Transit services will also be temporarily diverted to ply Victoria Street and Middle Road.

Marina Bay

Roads will be closed on Sunday for the Shape Run.

Esplanade Drive, Connaught Drive, Collyer Quay, Raffles Quay, Shenton Way, Prince Edward Road and Marina South will be closed to traffic from 5am to 11.30am.

Bus services plying that route will be diverted. SBS service 402 will operate till 7am and then resume services at 10am while service 400 will only start at 10am.

Some 8,000 women will take part in the annual run organised by Singapore Press Holdings' Shape Magazine to encourage more women to take up an active lifestyle as a way to bond.

Punggol Field

One carriage way of Punggol Field towards Punggol East will be closed to traffic from 2pm to 10pm to facilitate a street parade.

The four SBS services running these routes will be temporarily diverted.-ST
