A passer-by admiring the flashy Renault F1 R28 showcar on display outside the Singapore Marriott Hotel yesterday.

The showcar, which will be displayed until Sept 28, is identical to the ones used by Renault's Formula One drivers.

The purpose of the annual exhibition is to bring motor racing to the masses and give members of the public a personal experience with an F1 car.
