Bigger, better Torque

Torque, the premium, homegrown automotive magazine published by SPH Magazines, has been upgraded with dynamic new looks and supersized content.

The new Torque is bigger and louder with its exciting and dynamic presentation of new sections and features. Incorporating exclusive insights into the Singapore Grand Prix in-book supplement, the September issue carries a whopping 192 pages.

"SPH Magazines has always been committed to delivering maximum value to readers, and that's what we set out to achieve with the new Torque," says Mr Allen Loh, Managing Director of SPH Magazines.

New to the editorial team at Torque are Mr David Ting and Mr Tony Tan, motoring journalists with more than 20 years of experience between them.

Mr Christopher Tan, the senior correspondent with The Straits Times known for his experience as a motoring journalist, will continue as Consulting Editor. He will contribute insightful interview pieces on top of his regular column that helps motorists and readers make sense of the changes in transport-related policies.

Said Torque's Editor, Mr Lee Nian Tjoe: "The team is conscious about retaining Torque's unique character and identity while broadening its reach to bring more exciting car reviews to readers."

Here's a glimpse into the new Torque:

Online, the magazine's website, www.torque.com.sg features both interactive user forum channels as well as regular blogs from its editorial team.
