Daimler rises on talk Kuwait to raise stake-traders

LONDON, ENGLAND - Shares in German auto maker Daimler jumped 4% on Tuesday on market talk that Kuwait was looking to raise its stake in the company, traders said.

No immediate comment was available from Daimler, in which Kuwait holds a 7.6% stake.

At 1124 GMT, Daimler shares were up 4.5% at 28.02 euros, outpacing a 2% rise in Germany's DAX .
