Elderly man hit by car, dies

AN ELDERLY man died from his injuries, about 12 hours after he had been hit by a car along Bukit Batok Street 31 on Sunday afternoon.

The pedestrian, who is in his 60s was walking along the pavement in front of Block 375 when the incident happened at 2.30pm.

He suffered slight injuries and was still conscious when he was sent to the National University Hospital.
