AsiaOne

A new vehicular interchange between the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) and Bedok North Avenue 3 will be opened to traffic on Nov 29, 4pm onwards.

Motorists, especially residents in the Bedok North Estate, will be able to enjoy a direct and faster connection between Bedok North Avenue 3 and the PIE.

The new interchange will also serve as an alternative to the two existing interchanges with the PIE at Bedok North and Simei.

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) also constructed two new pedestrian overhead bridges across Bedok North Avenue 3 as part of the improvement works.

It also provided ramps to the existing pedestrian overhead bridge across the PIE and upgraded five bus shelters along Bedok North Avenue 3 and Bedok Reservoir Road.

Bedok North Avenue 3 has also been widened from two lanes to three lanes in both directions.
