A MOTORCYCLE crashed along the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) on Wednesday evening at around 9pm.

The rider, a 30-year-old Malaysian man, had lost control of his vehicle near the 10km mark as he was travelling in the right-most lane.

He escaped unhurt, but his companion, a 19-year-old Malaysian woman who was riding pillion, suffered serious head injuries. She was sent to Tan Tock Seng Hospital unconscious, and is now warded in the intensive care unit there.
