Tue, Aug 25, 2009
AsiaOne

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) will be converting a short stretch of Handy Road between Orchard Road and Penang Road to two-way traffic on Aug 27, Thursday at 10am.

With the conversion to two-way traffic, motorists travelling along Stamford will now have direct access to Handy Road.

Motorists are advised to drive carefully when approaching the traffic junction and to observe the traffic signals. Traffic wardens will be deployed on site to help and guide motorists.

Currently the stretch of Handy Road only allows for one-way traffic. Motorists travelling along Stamford Road have to make a longer detour via Buyong Road and Orchard Road before they are able to turn into Handy Road.
