PUMPING and paying for petrol is faster and more pleasant in Johor Bahru (JB) than in Singapore, a reader concluded.

In Singapore, the overall process might take as long as 10 minutes if there's a long queue.
"In Johor, the situation is different.
"I merely told the attendant how much petrol I wanted and he pumped it in without any further questions.
"When the filling was completed, I paid at the cashier's counter (Kaunter Bayaran) which was located beside the pump.
"No time was wasted and filling in petrol was a very pleasant experience in Johor.
"I hope our petrol stations can adopt this speedy method of pumping and paying for petrol, where time is of the essence."
