SINGAPORE - Volkswagen (VW) Singapore threw open the doors to its newly expanded showroom and service centre on Friday night.
The new showroom areas has space for up to 26 display cars on a single level, with new areas such as a technology corner, a heritage wall and a performance section.
The showroom is now more accessible. Customers can visit the showroom either from Leng Kee or Alexandra Road. Parking spaces have also been doubled.
Citing "customer service" as the main focus of their expansion, Dr Zeno Kerschbaumer, managing director of VW Group Singapore, said he was confident customers will appreciate the car maker's investment in people and spaces.
Said Dr Kerschbaumer, "We want to be able to showcase our large model range and make customers feel comfortable in terms of both sales and aftersales."
The new facility will cater to a growing Volkswagen owner base in Singapore.
A new vehicle, the Scirocco R, was also launched at the official opening to the tune of $148,800 with COE.
Customers can look forward to offers on other Volkswagen models for the weekend, as well as discounts of up to $17,000.
