Traffic arrangements for Panguni Uthiram Festival

SINGAPORE - The Holy Tree Sri Balasubramaniam Temple is organising the annual Panguni Uthiram Festival on April 5, 2012, where 1600 devotees will take part in a foot procession.

To facilitate the event, the following roads will be closed to vehicles from 1am to 11.59pm on April 5:

1. Extreme left lane of the carriageway of Sembawang Road in the direction of Sembawang Avenue (between Durban Road and Yishun Avenue 2).

2. Extreme left lane of the carriageway of Yishun Avenue 2 in the direction of Lentor Avenue (between Sembawang Road and Yishun Industrial Park A).

3. Yishun Industrial Park A.

During the closures, access into the above-mentioned roads will only be granted to police and emergency vehicles.

The police warned that parking restrictions along the peripheral roads will be strictly enforced and vehicles found causing obstruction will be towed away.
