ERP rates revised from May 7 onwards

SINGAPORE - The Land Transport Authority (LTA) will be revising Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) rates at six gantries, following its quarterly review of traffic conditions on ERP-priced roads and expressways.

The changes will begin from Monday, May 7.

Motorists will no longer have to pay ERP at the gantry along the CTE (Southbound) before Braddell Road from 9am to 11am. The LTA reduced the current rate of $0.50 by 50 cents, thereby making it free for drivers at that time.

The rate at the gantry located at the PIE slip road in the CTE will also see a decrease of 50 cents from $3.50 to $3 from 7.30am to 8am.

At the four gantries located along the CTE (Southbound) after Braddell Road, the current ERP rate of $1.50 will be increased to $2.00 from 7.30 am to 8am. The current $2 ERP rate charged from 8am to 8.30m am will also be increased to $3.

The rates for the other gantries will remain unchanged. The next ERP review will take place in May 2012 for the June school holidays.
