McLaren showroom's interior mimics F1 Paddock Club

SINGAPORE - McLaren's new showroom, launched on March 28, was built not only to display their technical expertise and their famous supercars, but the outlet at 45 Leng Kee Road was also modeled to cater to the luxury of being a supercar enthusiast.

Besides the gun metal of the facade, the interior of McLaren Singapore was created to mimic a Formula 1 Paddock Club.

The F1 Paddock Club is where sports car enthusiasts exclusively gather during the races.

When visitors first enter the showroom, they will be greeted with an unobstructed view of the MP4-12C on display at the far end of the showroom. The MP4-12c had chalked up 40 deposits within just days of its launch in Singapore June last year.

The carbon fibre rolling chassis of the MP4-12C will also be featured prominently.

Also on display, the famous MP4/24 that Lewis Hamilton victoriously steered across the finishing line at the 2009 Singapore Grand Prix.

Customers can also take workshops to get an introduction of the technology inside their own MP4-12C.

The showroom will also display ranges of exclusive McLaren and Team McLaren merchandise which includes accessories developed from the collaborations with HUGO Boss and TAG Heuer.

Featured in the window display plinth is one of the 1,000 units of the limited edition MP4-12C chronograph that celebrates more than a quarter of a century partnership by TAG Heuer and McLaren.

The timepiece is only available through McLaren and its network of dealers around the world. For photos of the showroom click through the thumbnails:
