Wang Jia's environmentally-friendly two-seater car, which can hover just above the ground, is designed to be a zero-emissions vehicle that will travel along electromagnetic road networks.

Wang, who studies animation and gaming design from Chengdu city, had entered her creation into Volkswagen's 'The People's Car Project' - an online platform used by the German carmaker to create interactive dialogue with their customers in China.

Her entry was one of three picked to be turned into reality. Volkswagen's engineers created the concept car which soon went on display at the Beijing Auto Show.
