When car modification goes too far

Modifying cars can be an addictive hobby. In Singapore, 100 stunning modified cars went on display just last month at car show Super Import Nights.

Earlier in May, AsiaOne ran a story on the shady roots from which car modification in Japan came from - the Japanese Bosozoku.

Sometimes, however, enthusiasts make questionable decisions and take modifying their cars too far with disastrous results. Click through the photos below to decide for yourselves if these cars looked better in their original form:
