There will be road closures to traffic as Republic Polytechnic and Nam Hong Welfare Service Society are organising The Republic Run 2012 on Saturday, July 7, 2012.
To facilitate the event, Republic Crescent will be closed from 4.30pm to 6.00pm.
The carriageway of Woodlands Drive 91 in the direction of Woodlands Avenue 9 (between Republic Crescent and Woodlands Avenue 9) will also be closed.
The extreme left lane of Woodlands Avenue 9 in the direction of Woodlands Avenue 10 (between Riverside Road and Woodlands Drive 91) will be closed from 4pm to 6.30pm while the two left lanes of Riverside Road in the direction of Woodlands Avenue 2 (between Admiralty Road and Woodlands Avenue 9) will be closed from 3.30 pm to 7pm.
Admiralty Road (between Riverside Road and Admiralty Road West) will be closed from 4pm to 7.30pm.
The carriageway of Admiralty Road West in the direction of Marsiling Lane (between Woodlands Avenue 4 and Marsiling Lane) and the carriageway of Admiralty Road West in the direction of Sembawang Road (between Marsiling Lane and Keramat Road) will also be closed.
The right lane of Admiralty Road West in the direction of Sembawang Road (between Keramat Road and Woodlands Avenue 4) will be closed.
During the road closures, access into these roads will only be granted to police and emergency vehicles.
Parking restrictions along the peripheral roads will be strictly enforced.
Vehicles found parking and causing obstruction will be towed away.

SMRT Bus services 856, 858 and 903 will also be affected on July 7, 2012 from 4pm to 7.30pm for the run.
Bus service 856 will not stop at the bus stop before Keramat Road, after View Road, at and opposite Khalsa Crescent Drug Rehabilitation Centre due to the road closure at Admiralty Road West.
It will also not stop before and after R.M.N Barracks due to Admiralty Road being closed.
Bus services 858 and 903 will not stop opposite Pacific Vintex due to Riverside Road being closed.
